Our Story

Four cans of cold brew.

Our journey began at the humble kitchen table, where we crafted our first products with love customers.

Stone Sip started the simple way—brewing cold brew at home and sharing it with friends. What began at a kitchen table quickly found its way to local farmers markets, where people kept coming back for the smooth taste and easy drinkability.

The timeline

The start

What started as a curiosity around smoother, less acidic coffee quickly turned into experimentation. Brewing cold, letting time do the work, and focusing on balance.

The 50's

Early methods focused on patience. Coffee was steeped longer, brewed colder, and tasted smoother. No shortcuts — just time, water, and quality beans doing what they do best.

The 60's

Brew times were adjusted. Ratios were tested. Flavor profiles were dialed in. The goal was consistency — a cold brew that tasted clean, balanced, and drinkable every time.

The 70's

Cold brew moved from experiment to routine. Brewed in larger batches, shared more often, and refined for approachability — smooth enough to drink straight, bold enough to stand on its own.

The 80's

As faster methods gained popularity, the focus stayed on slow extraction and flavor clarity. The process mattered more than speed, and taste always came first.

The 90's

By the 90’s, the formula was clear: slow brew, smooth finish, no compromises. The groundwork was set for bringing cold brew out of the kitchen and into the light.

A quote from our founder

“Cold brew taught us patience. When you slow the process down and stop trying to force flavor, the coffee does what it’s supposed to do. We’ve always believed that time, good beans, and restraint matter more than trends. That mindset is built into every batch we make.”
